September to November: Clear Views & Peak Adventure
These are the hottest months of the year, with October often exceeding 35°C (95°F). Water levels at Victoria Falls are at their lowest, revealing dramatic rock formations and the raw geology of the Batoka Gorge.
This is the best time for helicopter flights over the Falls and one of the most popular periods for guided Batoka Gorge hikes and Zambezi River adventure activities.
Wildlife viewing in nearby parks such as Hwange and Chobe is excellent, making this an ideal time to combine adventure with safari experiences.

December to February: Lush Landscapes & Green Scenery
Heat and afternoon rainstorms transform the region into a vibrant green paradise. The Zambezi River begins to rise, and Victoria Falls steadily gains volume.
This period is ideal for guests looking for immersive nature experiences, fewer crowds, and spectacular skies. Birdlife is exceptional, making it a favorite for nature lovers staying at our organic farm near Victoria Falls.

March to May: Victoria Falls at Full Power
This is when Victoria Falls reaches its most powerful state. Around April, massive volumes of water crash into the gorge, creating intense spray and thunderous sound.
